Swiss-Grade RMUL2 Clone Hand-Wound Skeleton Movement
The Japan Blue Super Clone runs on a Swiss-grade hand-wound mechanical movement engineered to match the genuine Richard Mille RMUL2 caliber on feel, frequency, and architecture. The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, winds by hand through the 2 o'clock screw-down crown, and holds a power reserve of approximately 55 hours for over two days off the wrist. The caliber drives the central hours, minutes, and seconds across a grade 5 titanium baseplate and satin-finished titanium bridges, the same architectural choice the genuine RMUL2 uses for shock resistance and weight reduction. The Asia LE production applies a blue surface treatment to the bridge tops for the Japan Blue colourway, which the super clone replicates through a matching blue PVD-style finish.
Accuracy, Shock Resistance and Daily Performance
Daily deviation holds within -5 to +8 seconds per day after factory regulation, close to the chronometer band that buyers expect from a Swiss-grade hand-wound build. The grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges give the movement a strong, light core that handles shock during sport use, which is the architectural reasoning behind the genuine RMUL2 in the original Bubba Watson signature. The 50-meter water resistance and the 2 o'clock screw-down crown let the Japan Blue Super Clone hold its seal through daily wear, hand washing, and light water contact, in line with the active-wear positioning of the RM 055 line.
